
Zillinger Gruner Veltliner Hirschenreyn, Weinviertel 2019
Hirschenreyn is our coolest and highest location, exposed to the north, on the edge of the forest. We see this situation as a very exciting future for GV. The soil is very cool and rich in humus (black earth and loess). Must fermented very cloudy, slow fermentation (>1 year) in a big oak barrel; 30 mg sulphur added. We love this lively, vibrant style! One of our big favourites of the vintage 2019!
